Description
Our agricultural business, Borgo Dus, grows both Green and White asparagus. From the same base-plant, you can obtain two completely different tasting products.
The Green, thanks to the natural process of photosynthesis, has a decisive and intense flavour.
The white never meets the rays of the sun until harvest. It is grown underground and covered with a black plastic sheet that prevents photosynthesis. This produces a sweet, delicate, refined flavour. The cultivation of the White asparagus is typical of the Veneto region.
